Deserts are dengerous but beautiful as they can also seem very threatening because of the stories that we heard. There are hot sun, snakes, heavy sand to walk in,there is no water, no clouds, hallucinations and death. Yes, that’s how most people know the desert.
But Brazil’s Maranhenses National Park is like a desert, but super beautiful and it has lakes with clear water.It’s like some sort of paradise that has been created for desert travelers. It is in northeastern Brazil and it’s around 1000 square kilometers. The funny thing is that has no vegetation even though it has water and rain. It is very protected, so there are no vehicles inside there, you can only entrance the park with a 4-wheel drive truck.
